Privacy Policy
Energy Freedom Project INC ("Energy Freedom Project," "EFP," "we," "us," or "our") recruits independent sales representatives for the deregulated residential energy market. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through energyfreedomproject.site (the "Site"), our application forms, and our text message and phone communications, and how we use and protect it.
SMS privacy commitment. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text message opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing described in this policy, and will not be shared with any third parties.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details, including first and last name, mobile phone number, email address, and city and state.
- Application details, including sales experience, availability, and anything else you choose to include in a form, text, call, or email.
- Communication preferences, including whether you consented to receive text messages, and the date, time, and page where you gave that consent.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and the time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies used by our hosting, analytics, and advertising providers (for example, Meta or Google), when those tools are enabled on the Site.
Information from third parties
If you respond to one of our ads (for example, a Meta lead form) or are referred by an existing representative, we receive the information you submitted to that platform or the referral details provided to us.
2. How we use your information
- To review your application and contact you about independent sales opportunities, interviews, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
- To send text messages and make calls you have consented to receive, and to honor opt-out requests.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our recruiting process.
- To measure the performance of our recruiting advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations, keep records of consent, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
3. Text messaging
If you opt in, Energy Freedom Project will send recurring text messages about your application and related recruiting, onboarding, and training updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of applying or of any opportunity with us. See the SMS Program section of our Terms & Conditions for full program terms.
We use a text messaging platform to deliver messages. That provider processes your number only to send messages on our behalf and may not use it for its own marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that host the Site, run our CRM, deliver email and text messages, or provide analytics, only as needed to perform services for us and under obligations to protect the information. This excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent, as stated above.
- Sales partners. If you move forward and choose to work with us, limited contact and onboarding details may be shared with the energy retail providers or sales organizations you will represent, as required for them to set you up as a representative. This never includes your SMS opt-in data or consent.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EFP, our representatives, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Data retention
We keep applicant information for as long as needed to evaluate your application and maintain a relationship with you, and as required to keep consent and opt-out records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 7). We may keep a record of an opt-out so we do not text you again.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
